William Ezra Allen was the architect and first owner of 3015 Collingwood. The Allen family crest occupies space in the formal dining room above the built-in cherrywood buffet.
The Mansion is more noted for Thomas A. Devilbiss. Thomas A. was a highly respected industrialist and entrepreneur in Toledo. He was the founder of the Devilbiss Company, and a local high school was named after him.
The Davis Family has spent the last 30 years refreshing the Mansion. They preserved and restored the traditional splendor associated with the home when making their upgrades and improvements, including updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. To ensure your comfort The Mansion was upgraded with central zoned air conditioning and heating.
The Davis’s preserved the stained and leaded glass windows, hardwood floors, and priceless decor, as well as adding their own special touches throughout this grand home, creating an atmosphere of upscale elegance.
We have decided to include the third floor Penthouse (formerly The Mansion's Ballroom) for your added pleasure when you rent The Mansion.
The top level of "THE MANSION" has all the updates required for an enjoyable stay. It's cozy enough for a few and large enough for big groups. You'll enjoy shooting pool, working out in the fitness area, watching T.V. on the big screen, cooking in the kitchen and enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio.
